Accessibility statement generator

What an accessibility statement is, what it should contain, and how to draft one that honestly documents your efforts under EN 301 549.

What a statement is

An accessibility statement is a published page where you describe how accessible your service is, the standard you work to (EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 AA), known limitations, and how people can contact you for help or report a problem.

What it must contain

  • The standard and conformance level you're working to.
  • Known limitations and areas still being improved.
  • A contact route for accessibility feedback.
  • The date it was prepared or last reviewed.

It documents efforts, not a guarantee
